NEW! GAR Arts & Culture Applications
Beginning February 1, 2015, GAR will require arts applicants to complete a Data Profile annually through the Cultural Data Profile website
as application for funding. For grants management purposes, all applicants are also required to complete a very brief GAR arts application prior to the scheduled deadlines. Please read our updated process carefully before applying.
Next, determine if you need to submit a Letter of Inquiry.
If so, you must submit a Letter of Inquiry. Once you submit an LOI, our program officers will provide feedback and notify you of your eligibility to submit a full application for funding.
Have you received a grant in the last five years?
If you have received a grant in the past five years, and your current request is for the same purpose as previously awarded, you do not need to submit a Letter of Inquiry.
It's time to begin the Application Process.
The new arts & culture application process is two fold:
Please note: There can be a time lag of up to 4 weeks from the time that you submit your Cultural Data Profile to the time that Cultural Data Project will complete its review of your profile and release the information to GAR Foundation in a Funders Report. Therefore, if you want to submit a funding request for our Feb 1 deadline, you should submit your completed Cultural Data Profile by early January. Please call 330.576.2915 with any questions.
