GAR Arts & Culture Applications

GAR requires arts applicants to complete a Cultural Data Profile annually through the DataArts website (formally The Cultural Data Project) as application for funding. For grants management purposes, all applicants are also required to complete a very brief GAR arts application prior to the scheduled deadlines.
  • Step 1: Read the Cultural Data Project Frequently Asked Questions (updated April 1, 2016).
  • Step 2: Determine if you need to submit a Letter of Inquiry.
  • Step 3: Submit a Cultural Data Profile via the DataArts website. It may take some time to gather the materials you need to enter your data for the Cultural Data Profile, so it might be helpful to get started at least two weeks before your deadline.
  • Step 4: Complete the brief GAR Foundation Arts & Culture application by the appropriate deadline.
